# Secondhand MCP Cloud: Full Reference
> Search secondhand marketplaces from AI assistants

Secondhand MCP Cloud is a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants search Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Depop, and Poshmark for used and secondhand items. It connects to Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client in about 30 seconds. There is nothing to install, Chrome is not needed, and the free tier requires no API keys.

## Supported Marketplaces
- Facebook Marketplace: location-based search (pass a city), no auth required
- eBay: official Browse API, works out of the box (users may optionally supply their own keys)
- Depop: national search (Pro and above)
- Poshmark: national search (Pro and above)

## MCP Tools
- search_marketplace: search one marketplace (or "all" on Pro+), filtering by price range, condition, category, brand, department, sizes, colors, sort order, location (Facebook)
- get_listing_details: full details for a listing, including the description, all photos (as image URLs, or inline), location, seller info and shipping
- list_marketplaces: which marketplaces the current plan can access and eBay credential status
- search: searches every accessible marketplace at once for deep research and returns result IDs to pass to fetch (ChatGPT Deep Research compatible)
- fetch: deep-research fetch of full listing details by result ID (ChatGPT Deep Research compatible)

- redeem_code: apply a promo code to your own Secondhand MCP account in-conversation

All marketplace access is read-only, so the server never posts, bids, messages sellers, or modifies anything on any marketplace. The only write tool is redeem_code, which affects your own Secondhand MCP account.
